Something a bit different close to Christchurch

Cust village is a delightful place to visit, stop for lunch, wander around or shop for something a bit different. Just travel 15 minutes down Tram Rd, taking the 1st exit off the northern motorway

Create an interesting half day excursion; travelling a loop starting in Cust Village, then up to the beautiful Ashley river gorge picnic area, (through Oxford), perhaps do a DOC native bush walk continuing on to Loburn, and then back to Christchurch.
