Cust Village is on scenic highway 72, with a unique character and historic English charm, dating back to 1861. Placed where the North Canterbury plains transition into rolling foothills with views over the Cust river to the snow capped Southern Alps.

The village has original old buildings, among them a country Tavern;  Route72 café, a mix of craft stores and other small enterprises, making it a delightful destination close to Christchurch

It is also a wonderful place for those seeking a country lifestyle. For it’s modest size the village packs in a lot of amenities, including a Pre-school and Primary/intermediate school, swimming pool, tennis courts, horse equestrian & dressage pavilion, lawn bowls, community hall with children’s play park and there’s even a fire station.
